Children & Adults with Disabilities | FREE to Participate
Every person has something special to offer this world. Some people communicate differently. Some learn differently. Some move through life with challenges that others may never fully understand. But one thing should never be different: the opportunity to feel loved, included, respected, and valued.
At Hearts of Hearts Foundation, we believe that having a disability should never mean being overlooked, left out, or made to feel that you don't belong. We also understand that parents and caregivers want the very best for their loved ones. They want them to build friendships, learn new things, enjoy meaningful experiences, and have opportunities to grow.
Sometimes finding those opportunities isn't easy. That's why we're developing Hearts Without Limits. We want to create a welcoming place where children and adults with disabilities can be themselves, discover their strengths, participate in activities, develop life skills, and build meaningful connections. And we want their families to know they have a community that cares.
You don't have to navigate every challenge alone. We're here to listen, encourage, and help you find opportunities for your loved one to thrive.
Our program is being designed to provide meaningful experiences that encourage independence, confidence, inclusion, and personal growth.
Participants will have opportunities to learn and practice everyday skills based on their individual abilities, interests, and goals.
Activities may include personal organization, money management, communication, decision-making, daily routines, and other practical life skills.
Our goal is not to make everyone learn the same way. It's to meet each person where they are and celebrate their progress.
Everyone deserves friendship and the joy of belonging.
Through group activities, games, social gatherings, and community outings, participants will have opportunities to meet others, practice communication skills, build relationships, and enjoy time together.
We want participants to have fun, explore their interests, and discover new talents.
Activities may include arts and crafts, music, movement, games, sensory-friendly experiences, seasonal celebrations, and accessible recreational opportunities.
We believe every individual deserves opportunities to make choices, express their ideas, and develop confidence.
Through supportive activities and encouragement, participants can practice self-advocacy, teamwork, problem-solving, and other skills that support personal growth.
Parents and caregivers need encouragement and support, too.
We plan to offer family gatherings, educational workshops, opportunities to connect with other caregivers, and referrals to community organizations that provide disability-related resources and services.
We want to help create more opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in the community.
Through partnerships with local businesses, schools, service providers, and community organizations, we hope to expand access to inclusive activities, volunteer opportunities, and age-appropriate educational experiences.
We know every individual is different.
Every person has their own personality, interests, strengths, dreams, and support needs.
We don't believe in putting people into one category or expecting everyone to accomplish the same things.
We believe in listening, learning, making room for individual differences, and celebrating progress—whether it's a big milestone or a small personal victory.
We want parents to feel comfortable bringing their children. We want adults with disabilities to feel respected and heard. And we want every participant to know that they are an important part of our community.
You are not defined by a diagnosis. You are a person with value, purpose, and possibilities.
We want Hearts Without Limits to be about more than attending an activity.
We want participants to have opportunities to:
We also want families and caregivers to feel more connected, informed, and supported.
To help us create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment, participants or their parents, guardians, or authorized representatives will be asked to:
We will work with individuals and families to understand reasonable accommodations and accessibility needs.
Some activities may require a parent, caregiver, or qualified support professional to attend, depending on the activity and the support available. These arrangements will be discussed individually rather than assumed based on a person's disability.
No previous program experience is required..
Hearts Without Limits is designed for children, teenagers, and adults with disabilities, including individuals with intellectual, developmental, physical, sensory, and other disabilities.
We welcome individuals with different communication styles, support needs, and abilities.
Activities will be planned with consideration for participants' ages, interests, accessibility needs, and appropriate supervision.
Our goal is not to focus on what someone cannot do. We want to discover what they enjoy, what they want to learn, and how we can support their participation.
If you or someone you love would enjoy being part of a welcoming community that encourages friendship, learning, and personal growth, we would love to hear from you.
Whether you're a parent looking for opportunities for your child, an adult seeking connection and meaningful activities, or a caregiver searching for community resources, Hearts Without Limits is being created with you in mind.
